The advantage of having business seminars is staying in cool places and eating good food. While Mark went to Perry Marshall’s AMN meeting, I got to walk the grounds and work on my assignments for the upcoming Ireland trip. We stayed at the Hyatt Lodge in Oak Brook, Illinois. It was the old McDonald’s campus and has beautiful lakes, walking paths and many buildings, most not in use. The lodge needs updating, but has so much potential. I hope they renovate as this place could be a gem. Our favorite restaurant this time was Parkers’ in which we each had a melt in your mouth filet. The next night we went to Ditka’s where I got to share a bottle of Bordeaux, which I had never tasted before. Delicious! I had the ribeye and Mark the pork chop. I think the pork chop was better than the ribeye. I met a new friend who could be my younger self, Suzanne Brubaker. Hope to stay in contact with her.
