What a treasure it is to have friends to travel with. We went to Hot Springs, Arkansas for the weekend. Warm, rainy, and muggy for part of the time, but had sunshine when it mattered. Lynda and I went to Garvin Gardens and walked quite a few steps! Beautiful flowers and walking paths. John and Mark went to the horse races and came home ahead by $18. They like to bet on gluepot horses and are obviously conservative in their betting. The Airbnb we stayed in was perfect. A 100 year old bungalow called “Historic 2BD/2BA Home Downtown with 2 bedrooms, both with king sized beds. All the amenities you could possibly want. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch, drinking coffee or beer and watching the rain.
